HX5 is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our LRSO team at Robins AFB, Georgia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, life cycle cost, producibility, reliability and maintainability, risk and scheduling trade-off studies as related to electrical engineering.
Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations.
Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures.
Conduct engineering reviews, studies, audits, and technical analysis.
Support associated armament program engineering IPTs.
Conduct and evaluate time and engineering cost estimates in support of research, development, test, training and acquisition of armament related systems.
Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities may include:
Knowledge and experience in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating aerodynamic performance of armament systems resulting from transportation, handling, storage, and operational use.
Knowledge and experience in design, development and testing of electro-technology (any electrical and electronic) systems.
Knowledge and experience shall include product design, analysis, and testing in all areas of electro-technology applications such as analog and digital circuits and systems analysis; signal processing techniques and implementations; Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) analysis; power supply evaluation; radiofrequency component analysis; microcircuits (e.g., Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), microprocessors, memory circuits) evaluation; radiation hardened electronic circuits analysis and evaluation; multispectral analysis of Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (C4I) system architectures; and flight control systems analysis and evaluation
Education and Experience:
Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college.
BS degree and eighteen (18) years of professional work experience
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire, with an investigation date within (6) six years.
