We are a 5 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area.Job SummaryDRS Land Systems is seeking a first shift Coordinator III Engineering to perform administrative activities in support of the Engineering organization. Specifically, management of Item Unique Identifier database both internally and on government systems.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain Item Unique Identifier database internally and on government systems.Develop process to automate data collection and database updatePerform a variety of difficult to complex activities in support of functional areas such as production operations or engineering for a specific project, business, or a technical unitParticipate in the development and implementation of projects, work methods and proceduresRecommend changes to improve efficiencyGather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sourcesCompile, review and analyze dataUse software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentationsMay design processes to enhance workflowProvides data and information to others on functional unit processes and proceduresThis position typically spends 70% of their time supporting the functionThorough understanding of general job aspects and moderate understanding of the detailed aspects of the jobSupport, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationJob Responsibilities Part IIQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of experienceMust be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as neededMust have the ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a teamMust pay exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistentlyMust be proficient in office procedures and possess good writing and verbal skillsTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
