PROJECT MANAGER Ayer, MAJob Location: Remote (New England, USA)JOB DESCRIPTIONBrighter Horizons Environmental Corporation (BHE) is seeking an experienced Construction/ Demolition Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, team management, estimating, contract negotiation, and project management. This position directly manages employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Brighter Horizons Environmental Corporation (BHE) policies and applicable laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESŸ Seek out bid opportunities through client relationships, network opportunities, public and private postings and assigned opportunities. Prepare accurate cost estimates for demolition projects for private and public clients by reviewing plans and specifications, calculating quantities, soliciting quotes and submittals, preparing computer base estimates, and creating bid submittals in a timely manner.Project management of demolition, environmental remediation, and specialty projects.Continuous marketing to existing company clients and assist with efforts to generate/develop new client relationships.Contract review, execution, & management.Oversee project procurement.Development of site-specific management plans and methodologies.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.Project cost tracking, variations, and projections. Pricing and negotiating cost variations/ change orders with clients.Responsible for controlling and minimizing risk on projects.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail.Client management and business development. Note: Listed essential duties and responsibilities should be considered strictly as an overview; responsibilities and expectations may change based on business needs and/or to provide you with new opportunities with BHE.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience Must be 18 years of age5+ years of Project Management experience in Environmental Remediation and/or Demolition Construction Services required5+ years of Estimating experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with reading and interpreting project plans and specificationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)Experience with heavy construction equipment; basic knowledge of construction equipment operation and maintenance. Valid Driver License with clean RMV record for past three yearsOSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour General ConstructionOSHA HAZWOPER 40-Hour Training & Current Annual 8-Hour Refresher MA Construction Supervisors License (preferred but not required)Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and temperaturesAbility to wear and use personal protective equipmentStrong working knowledge of:OSHA 1910, Occupational Safety and Health Standards;OSHA 1926, Safety and Health Regulations for Construction Standards;EPA & DOT Standards;Applicable Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testingAbility to pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening (CORI)BENEFITSSalary - compensation commensurate with experiencePerformance based compensationPaid Time OffPaid Holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Friday following, Christmas Day) 401k with Employer Match100% Employer paid Health Insurance Company VehicleAbility to work remotely or at Company Headquarters (Ayer, MA)BHE is New England’s premier waste stream management company since 2005 and offers full Site Remediation, Demolition, and Environmental Construction Services.
