Network Implementation Engineer

Sev1Tech is seeking an experienced Network Implementation Engineer to support the meshONE-Terrestrial (T) program. meshONE‐T is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end‐to‐end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.Overview/Job ResponsibilitiesInstalls, upgrades, and troubleshoots network equipment and softwareCreates and maintains documentation relating to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service recordsEstablishes and documents network technical support processes and proceduresPractices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specificationsMonitors and tests network performance and provides network performance statistics and reportsAble to communicate effectively with other project groups such as cybersecurity, network, operations, and Project Management, during the installation and troubleshooting of system componentsSupports all updates to documentation when there is a change in the transport design and/or technologies, while collaborating with stakeholdersCONUS/OCONUS travel requiredMinimum QualificationsMinimum of seven (7) years of applicable experience listed in the roles and responsibilitiesExperience in one or more of the following disciplines: Layer 3 routing TCP/IP, Cyber Security Operations/AdministrationUnderstanding of networking and fundamentals of network troubleshootingUnderstanding of network transport design, equipment, and infrastructureAbility to work in remote locations with minimal support, lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and be comfortable working with your hands and using toolsCurrent Security + Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)Security Clearance: Current active Top Secret/SCI eligibleSalary range- $135,000-$155,000Desired QualificationsExperience with NetBrain, Solarwinds, ServiceNow, NETSCOUT nGeniusONE, Elastic and ITSMKnowledge of/experience with space mission systemsFamiliarity with VM, Linux, and/or Windows environmentsExperience with field-based work in government/contractor data centers and colocation facilities
