Product Manager- OriginationLocation: Dallas/Ft Worth Texas- Onsite 2-3 days per week 120k to 150kAbout the Role:Lead the origination domain that connects dealers, consumers, lenders, and partners. You will own the application-to-funding journey end to end, integrating identity, credit, decisioning, stip collection, e-contracting, and funding into seamless marketplace flows, with strong risk and compliance controls. Key Responsibilities:Own the origination roadmap within the marketplace, define the multi-year vision, quarterly OKRs, and delivery plans across buyer, dealer, and lender experiences.Build end-to-end digital origination journeys including application intake, identity verification, credit pulls, automated decisioning, stip collection, and funding.Implement next-generation underwriting capabilities such as pricing engines, layered risk rules, real-time verification, and the integration of advanced models where appropriatePartner with risk & compliance to ensure regulatory alignment with ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, and state lending rules.Integrate third-party providers across credit bureaus, fraud and identity, income and employment verification, data enrichment, e-contracting, and dealer tools.Improve core KPIs such as approval rate, time to decision, funding speed, and operational scalability through clear KPI design, instrumentation, dashboards, and experimentation.Modernize the platform with engineering and enterprise architecture, moving legacy components to API-first microservices and event-driven workflows.Collaborate across marketplace domains (Search and Match, Dealer Ops, Servicing) to ensure a smooth handoff from marketplace entry to funding and into post-funding experiences, with full-funnel telemetry.Qualifications and Skills:EducationBachelor's degree in business or information technology, preferably M.B.AExperience7-12+ years product experience, including 3+ years in loan origination, underwriting platforms, or lending operations technology.Experience in captive auto finance, consumer lending, mortgage lending, neobanks, or fintech lenders.Strong domain knowledge: credit policy, risk scoring models, fraud prevention, workflow automation.Familiarity with tools like IDV/KYC vendors, Decision Engines (DEs), LOS/LMS, and data enrichment tools.Strong data skills, including mapping and improving the origination funnel, cohort analysis, and setting up the metrics and event tracking that power dashboards and SLAs.Proven track record leading platform modernization in regulated financial environment.Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with dealer F&I workflows and funding operations, including stip management and lender partner certification.Exposure to fair-lending analytics and model-risk governance.Knowledge of eSignature and eVault, title and funding documentation processes.
