Title: Utility Compliance Project ManagerDuration: 5 monthsRate: $92-98/hour W2Location: Oakland, CA (onsite)Seeking a Compliance Governance Program Manager with deep technical knowledge of compliance, risk management, and quality assurance.Responsibilities Provide strategic and tactical guidance on enhancing the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of various foundational elements within compliance program framework. Ensure consistent interpretation and application of compliance program maturity standards across Electric Compliance sub-functions and key partner teams. Partner closely with Electric leaders to evaluate compliance maturity performance, perform gap analyses to identify gaps and develop mitigation plans. Lead key compliance management workstreams that enable Electric coworkers to conduct business in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, and to identify, manage, and mitigate risk. Help strengthen Electric’s compliance program by guiding program development, monitoring, and continuous improvement.Requirements Bachelor’s degree 6+ years of related experience Proven ability to design and lead implementation of compliance governance models that drive operational alignment and accountability Strong understanding of utility operations and asset management, with the ability to translate regulatory expectations into field-executable strategy Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, high-impact initiatives through risk-based planning, change leadership, and strategic execution.
