Press Brake / Machine Operator

Hiring Now for a Press Brake / Machine Operator on 2nd Shift! Hours for the Press Brake / Machine Operator are Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am. Some Overtime Available! Starting Rate of Pay for the Press Brake / Machine Operator is $20.00 per hour which includes $1.50 night differential. Essential Functions for the Press Brake / Machine Operator Include: Operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules. Measures and aligns materials to be used. Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications. Performs routine maintenance on the press brake. Performs other related duties as assigned. Will operate overhead cranes. Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company expectations. Minimum Required Qualifications for the Press Brake / Machine Operator Include: 3+ Years Press Brake and Operating experience Previous Metal fabrication background Dimensional measuring and shop math competence Ability to read and understand Blueprints Possess high caliber of quality control; strong skills in observing/inspecting own work Ability to work within a team environment Must be able to work overtime as required Must possess a positive 'Can Do' attitude Manage time effectively as to accomplish all tasks within an appropriate timeframe Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, have good hand dexterity and stand for the entire shift.
