Preschool, Afterschool Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool, Afterschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher/After School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, guiding their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This is a Part Time Position. Hours are Monday-Friday 1:00PM-5:00PM Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting respect and cooperation among students. Organize and participate in activities that enhance children's learning experiences, including arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive educational environment. Transport school age children to and from local elementary schools. A clean valid California Driver's license. Less than one point on record required. Experience Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units from a qualifying college required. Proven experience in classroom management and working with young children in daycare or educational settings.. Experience in tutoring or coaching sports can be beneficial for developing teamwork skills among children. Experience leading camps or similar programs is advantageous for creating engaging learning experiences. All candidates must be able to pass a background check and receive clearance before starting.
