This person manages a team and is responsible for strategic media discussions. They share the responsibility of providing account leadership in partnership with key subject matter experts to drive media and marketing solutions.ResponsibilitiesPartners with the account lead to drive innovation and performance in our media strategy in service of providing a best-in-class media experience to clients current and prospective customersServes as a senior lead on client's business and oversees the media strategy and planning function of the account, collaborating with client's in-house integrated media strategy team to ensure targets and goals are met for the businessResponsible for developing, implementing, and driving strategy inclusive of mix modeling, scenario planning and strategic budget guidance to advance client's businessBrings thought-leadership and new perspective with deep understanding of omni-channel customer experience and ability to manage associated downstream, cross-channel campaign executionsDemonstrates success in building/leading a scaled brand and performance strategy, planning, and research capability in an agency environment with evidence of breakthrough innovation across these teamsDeep understanding of the research methodologies that underpin these insights and demonstrate success in motivating a team to uncover/expand upon them to help drive industry-leading innovationDirects the long-range planning and development of campaigns to ensure best use of organizational resourcesDrives best in class insight, data-informed strategy, and innovationProvides staffing recommendation and daily supervisionEnsures connectivity with all relevant internal and external stakeholders in the USParticipates in new business efforts including development of new business opportunities and new business pitchesSupport the ongoing evolution of strategy and upskilling strategists to create and maintain a competitive edge for the agency and our clientsLead the development of communications plans; direct team on data needs, identify business and consumer insights, define business driving strategies and create inventive connections plans that bring these strategies to lifeDrive Innovation and Thought Leadership agenda both as a new business asset but equally as an engine within the agency to drive modern marketing solutions for our clientsPartner with creative and partner teams to translate strategies into business driving ideasPartner with EVP/Head of Strategy to define and implement a plan to evolve strategy practice to keep pace with industry changeQualificationsBA/BS, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field15+ years of experience in both digital and traditional media strategy and planning roles10+ years of prior staff management experienceProven ability to lead, provide strategy/vision, and implement/execute leadershipDemonstrated experience leading major client businesses and/or client strategy for large/complex accounts which resulted in client growth and satisfactionPitch experience with proven track recordAbility to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverablesAdditional InformationThe Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
