Hold PARAPROFESSIONAL, SUB/BA OR PEL Licensure for Illinois and registered in county 19(DuPage)2. Prefer experience with special education students.3. Must be able to speak educational instructions in spanish to students.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Listening and speaking skills.2. Moving and lifting of materials, supplies, etc.3. Reaching high and low shelving and/or files.4. Visually observing student behavior.REPORTS TO: Building principal.SUPERVISES: Students as assigned by principal/classroom teacher.JOB GOAL: To supervise students and give instructional assistance as directed to enhance the educational program of the district.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Prepares classroom materials for instruction as directed by teacher.2. Works with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.3.
