Construction Inspector
Bratslavsky Consulting Engineers, Inc., an engineering & construction management company is currently looking to hire a full-time Construction Inspector (CI) to provide construction inspection services in Florence, Oregon. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for the following:
Monitor quality of construction activities, provide assurance that construction contractors are providing quality control.
Inspect on-going construction, document problems, and recommend solutions, in professional manner.
Perform constructability reviews of project and contract documents.
Coordinate between fieldwork, affected organizations, and government.
Work with local client staff to explain and inform on construction activities.
Place of Performance: Florence, Oregon
Salary: $45hr-$55hr DOE

Minimum Experience/Technical Requirements for Construction Inspectors
High School Level Education
At least 7 years of construction experience in management, QA/QC, superintendent, or safety where daily and weekly reports are required.
OR
3 years of experience in construction field with 4-year college degree in Engineering, PE, PMP, or QA/QC certifications issued within the last 10 years.
Basic computer and software skills are required.
Shall be able to see, hear, walk, drive, climb, reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be physically able to traverse the construction site, which may include unstable footing, steps, rough terrain, adverse weather conditions, ladders, roof and other conditions that challenge mobility.
