The Program Manager / Case Management Supervisor leads and supports our Case Management team by providing supervision, quality assurance, training, coordination, and operational oversight while also carrying a small caseload of clients. This role ensures ethical, effective service delivery and supports staff development, communication, and compliance with agency and funding requirements.
What You’ll Do
Supervision & Staff Support
Provide supervision and coaching to Case Managers.
Offer guidance on complex client situations, boundaries, ethics, and best practices.
Lead onboarding and ongoing training for case management staff.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Provide constructive feedback to improve quality and compliance.
Monitor adherence to agency expectations for billable vs. non-billable time.
Client Support & Caseload Duties
Maintain a caseload with high-quality, person-centered service.
Support escalated client issues in collaboration with Case Managers.
Assist with coverage when staff are unavailable or cases require elevated support.
Team Communication & Coordination
Lead team meetings and communicate updates, reminders, and expectations.
Coordinate staff schedules, transitions, and coverage as needed.
Administrative & Program Duties
Track productivity, documentation timeliness, and program metrics.
Participate in hiring, evaluations, and performance improvement processes.
Ensure completion of compliance tasks (FCSR, training, background checks).
Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows, systems, and team culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in case management or community support.
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of local resources, documentation standards, and ethical practice.
Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean background check.
Physical Requirements
Travel to client homes and community settings.
Walk with clients and assist with light tasks (carrying small grocery bags, pet supplies, etc. up to 25 lbs).
Navigate various home and community environments.
No lifting or transferring of clients required.
