Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving of goods, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. Duties: - Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage warehouse operations. - Conduct inventory control and ensure accurate counts and labeling of products. - Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. - Utilize heavy equipment to move and store goods, ensuring safe and efficient operations. - Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify any issues that require immediate attention. - Manage and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to OSHA standards. - Perform picking and packing tasks to ensure timely and accurate shipping of products. - Operate an order picker to efficiently and safely retrieve and transport goods. - Utilize an AS400 system to manage and track warehouse operations. - Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including preparing and processing shipping documents. - Provide support to warehouse management and other teams as needed. Skills: - Proficiency in operating warehouse management systems and AS400 systems. - Experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and pallet jacks. - Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment. - Familiarity with OSHA standards and regulations. - Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects as required. - Experience with picking and packing tasks and shipping and receiving processes. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory control. - Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet deadlines. - Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $18.67 - $22.48 per hour Schedule: 12 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
