Job Title: Technical Project ManagerDuration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)Location: New York, NY 10286Onsite Role (4 days a week)Responsibilities:Seeking an exceptional Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility initiatives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.You know how to keep projects moving even when timelines are tight, requirements are evolving, and pressure is high.The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, brings structure to ambiguity, and has a proven track record of delivering against aggressive timelines with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical and data-focused projects across cross-functional teams.Translate complex technical requirements into clear project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.Drive execution against tight timelines in high-pressure environments with urgency, discipline, and composure.Build and maintain detailed project plans while continuously assessing trade-offs, sequencing, and critical path.Partner closely with engineering, product, data, architecture, and business teams to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and delivery expectations.Go beyond status tracking to actively identify blockers, surface risks early, and drive issue resolution to keep projects moving.Ask the right questions to uncover gaps, assumptions, dependencies, and execution risks before they impact delivery.Develop a strong understanding of the product, technical architecture, and business objectives so you can operate as a highly informed delivery leader.Serve as a proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders informed, aligned, and focused on decisions and outcomes.Push teams constructively and appropriately — including developers and partner teams — to maintain momentum, improve accountability, and drive dates forward where possible.Distinguish between critical requirements and lower-priority items, helping teams make smart decisions on what must happen now versus what can be deferred.Facilitate working sessions, decision forums, and stakeholder discussions that move projects forward rather than simply report on them.Monitor project health through clear metrics, milestones, RAID logs, and action-oriented governance.Ensure execution quality across multiple simultaneous workstreams without losing sight of broader business impact.Education/Experience:8–10 years of experience in technical project management, program management, or related delivery leadership roles.Proven experience working in high-pressure environments with tight timelines, significant delivery expectations, and multiple stakeholders.Demonstrated success managing data-focused projects, such as data platforms, reporting initiatives, integrations, migrations, pipelines, analytics, or related technical programs.Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts and requirements into actionable plans, milestones, and measurable business outcomes.Experience working directly with engineering, product, and technical teams in a way that goes beyond administrative coordination.Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, directly, and proactively at all levels of the organization.Excellent critical thinking and prioritization skills, including the ability to separate signal from noise and make thoughtful trade-off recommendations.Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying issues early and driving them to resolution.Demonstrated ability to build credibility with technical teams by understanding the work, asking informed questions, and driving productive decision-making.Experience managing cross-functional dependencies and leading projects with ambiguity, changing requirements, and compressed timelines.
