Job DetailsThe Business & Event Sales Manager (BSM) is the central leader of Alloro's day-to-day business operations. This person drives sales, oversees client relationships, strengthens systems, and ensures operational excellence across the organization.You'll work closely with the Founder and Sous Chef while serving as a visible leader, culture carrier, and brand ambassador—someone who thrives in both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a business, take ownership, and make a meaningful impact.This is an exempt, full-time, in-person position based in Downtown Brooklyn, New YorkKey ResponsibilitiesClient Experience & Sales LeadershipOwn and execute the full client lifecycle: inquiry → proposal → event → follow-upRespond to all inbound leads with professionalism and urgencyBuild and maintain strong client relationships and a robust CRM databaseGuide clients through menu selection, logistics, and event planningEnsure all client-facing materials are current and aligned with brand standardsContinuously deepen knowledge of Alloro's offerings and culinary perspectiveOperations & Systems ManagementMaintain and optimize event management and operational systemsOversee scheduling, rentals, transportation, and logisticsManage QuickBooks and support basic bookkeeping processesEnsure compliance with NYC regulations, permits, and inspectionsUphold standards across Alloro's physical and operational environmentFinancial & Business PerformancePartner with leadership to develop sales forecasts and budgetsTrack and report on key sales metrics (inquiries, conversions, revenue)Identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve profitabilitySupport pricing strategy, new offerings, and business development initiativesCollaborate on event-level P&Ls and monthly financial reviewsHelp drive cost efficiencies and reduce operational wasteLeadership & CommunicationLead weekly BEO and internal alignment meetingsServe as the communication hub across Founder, culinary team, and partnersCollaborate with PR and marketing partners to grow brand awarenessSchedule and coordinate front-of-house staffRepresent Alloro at industry and networking eventsPlus other special projects as assignedWho You AreA relationship-builder who genuinely enjoys working with clients, teams, and partnersHighly organized, detail-oriented, and systems-mindedComfortable balancing big-picture thinking with day-to-day executionFinancially curious, with a desire to understand and improve business performanceA collaborative leader who brings energy, accountability, and follow-throughQualifications4+ years of business management and/or sales experience (hospitality or events preferred)Experience in hospitality front office managementBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Etc.)Familiarity with AI toolsExperience in catering, events, or food & beverage strongly preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsBasic knowledge of bookkeeping, scheduling, and inventory managementFamiliarity with tools like QuickBooks and Canva is a plusItalian or Spanish language skills are a bonusEducation:Degree or certification in business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Certifications:Valid US driver's license requiredNYC Food Handler's Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)Compensation Includes:SalarySales CommissionEligibility to participate in Company Incentive PlanCompensation DetailsCompensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $85,000.00)Benefits & Perks: Paid Time Off, Potential Bonuses, Sales CommissionRequired SkillsCatering SalesOrganizational SkillsBusiness AdministrationEvent ManagementWritingCommunicationHospitality MindedTeam Collaboration
