For our location in Joppa, MD we are looking for a Controller Reference code: 19241 Your tasks Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in coordination with all departments. Develop financial models to assist in the forecasting of revenues, costs, and profitability. Monitor budget adherence, analyze variances, and propose corrective actions. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership. Ensure effective cost management and drive initiatives for cost savings and process optimization. Conduct profitability analysis of products, services, or projects, and offer recommendations for margin improvement. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and bank relationships. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks as well as to improve the company’s financial position. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures. Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial statements. Oversee all audit and internal control operations and be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities. Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems Streamline accounting and reporting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy Your profile Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting. Strong knowledge of GAAP standards, financial reporting, and internal controls. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial management software and Excel. SAP experience a plus. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Excellent planning and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels across the business. Assertiveness and a motivating, appreciative and modern leadership style with a Hands-on mentality Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to completion Strong business thinking and a high degree of result orientation paired with a “never give up” attitude.
