This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, enjoys fieldwork, and wants to grow within the environmental due diligence and remediation space.If you are passionate and eager to make an impact in the environmental sector, we invite you to apply for the Environmental Staff Scientist at CRG Texas Environmental Services today!Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,402.07 - $63,494.96 Salary - per yearQualificationsField Work SkillsExperience in Environmental Science and Environmental Impact AssessmentEnvironmental Consulting skillsTCEQ Phase I ESA and Phase II experience (3-4 years)Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsKnowledge of Federal, State, and Local environmental regulationsExcellent report written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in environmental science, Geology, or related fieldKey Responsibilities Phase I ESA DutiesConduct site inspections and property reconnaissance.Review historical sources (aerials, city directories, topographic maps, etc.).      Review regulatory databases for environmental records.Interview site contacts, property owners, and relevant agencies.Identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and prepare clear, defensible findings.Prepare complete Phase I ESA reports following ASTM E1527-21Phase II ESA DutiesAssist in planning and executing soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling events.Oversee drilling operations, direct-push sampling, and monitoring well installation.Collect soil, groundwater, and soil vapor samples in accordance with industry standards.Perform field screening and document field notes, chain-of-custody, and sample logs.Coordinate with certified laboratories for sample analysis. SWPPP Duties (preferred)Executing environmental compliance tasks, including the development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).Field work at various industrial facilities in Texas.Write plans, clients training, reports and coordinating with clients and other professionals.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience.       Paid training and opportunities for professional development.              Supportive team environment with room to advance.We offer competitive salaries, most major holidays and personal time off.         Medical, dental, vision and life insurance and match retirement planCRG Texas is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
