Housing Choice Voucher Supervisor
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Housing Choice Voucher Supervisor:
#1. Must have at least 5 years of Supervisor/Leadership experience and BS Degree.
#2. Must have Program Knowledge of public administration and public housing management.
#3. Must have knowledge of and ability to use system of records, i.e. Visual Homes, Emphasys, QualCheck, QualTrack, Word, Excel, etc.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements of the Housing Choice Voucher Supervisor:
Experience & Education: At least five years of experience managing assisted and affordable housing programs, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory role, combined with a bachelor's degree in business, public administration, social sciences, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience that fulfill these requirements may also be considered.
Program Knowledge: Familiarity with program development, monitoring, and evaluation techniques, along with principles and practices in public administration and housing management.
Community Resources: Understanding of community resources that can assist residents.
Contract & Legal Knowledge: Experience with contract negotiation methods and legal procedures.
Budgeting: Proficiency in municipal budgeting principles, methods, and practices.
Technical Skills: Ability to use various record systems, including Visual Homes, Emphasys, QualCheck, QualTrack, Word, Excel, etc.
Other Key Requirements:
In-office role. (Client will consider out of state candidates.)
