Due to increased demand, we are looking for additional seek subcontractor (1099) construction professionals/teams with established carpentry expertise to partner with us on our residential outdoor living building & remodeling projects. You will primarily be responsible for delivering the finished product to the satisfaction of the contract specifications, customer expectations, building officials, and the Archadeck franchise. Previous carpentry experience with residential projects is required, as are strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic and the ability to follow our documented processes.Potential Work Locations Include the Following Counties:• Bartow• Carroll• Chattooga• Cherokee• Douglas• Floyd• Gordon• Haralson• Paulding• PolkRESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate your team to ensure they understand and work on construction drawings in compliance with the specified detailsCheck construction drawings with sales design drawings to ensure adequacy and accuracy of informationCheck materials delivered against take-off and notify Production Director/Project Manager of shortages to allow for the prompt delivery of missing items and uninterrupted workflowEstablish and follow a schedule with the Production Director/Project ManagerMaintain an orderly job site by cleaning up daily and assuring safety practices are utilizedMaintain positive relations with customersRefer all problems to the Production Director/Project Manager for resolutionComply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signedQUALIFICATIONSAt least 3 - 5 years' experience carpentry experience with ability to demonstrate excellent techniques in structural framing, deck construction, working with composite and PVC materials, and foundation/footer layoutMust own or have access to all tools and equipment needed to complete projectsMust own or have consistent access to truck or van for transportationMust have or be willing to obtain General Liability and Workers' Compensation insuranceClean and neat appearanceGood communication and people skillsWilling to learn and follow documented processesAbility to work with specified details and quality assurance checklists independentlyAbility to read and interpret plans and check take-offsAbility to determine elevationsCompensation: $45.00 - $65.00 per hourFounded in 1980, Archadeck Outdoor Living is North America's largest designer and builder of custom decks, screened porches, patios, sunrooms, outdoor living rooms, outdoor kitchens and other outdoor living structures.
