This position sits in Lake Mills, WI and works on-site daily.Advanced Lathe Machinist Benefits and Compensation:Pay range: $24$32 per hour DOE$2/HR Shift differentialFour-day workweek (MondayThursday, 10-hour shifts)Second Shift: 2:45 PM 12:45 AMMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysOngoing training and advancement opportunitiesAdvanced Lathe Machinist Requirements & Qualifications:4+ years CNC machining experience with proven set-up expertise on CNC lathesHands-on experience with Swiss lathes, twin turret or twin spindle configurationsAbility to set up, prove out, edit, and operate CNC lathes efficientlySkilled at adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling to optimize cycle times and part qualityStrong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&TKnowledge of cutting tool selection, grades, and applicationsMust hold a valid driver's licenseAdvanced Lathe Machinist Preferred Background & Skills:Experience with complex multi-axis lathe operationsFamiliarity with JobBOSS or similar ERP softwareBackground in medical device or aerospace machining environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindsetAbility to train or mentor junior machinists
