The successful candidate will be the senior administrative and operational leader, responsible for ensuring excellence across clinical operations, academic administration, financial stewardship, and the patient and family experience. This pivotal role involves partnering with physician and nursing leaders, as well as executive teams, to advance the vision of the children's hospital as a destination for pediatric care, education, and discovery. Key responsibilities include translating academic and clinical strategy into operational execution, overseeing departmental administration, budgeting, and financial performance, and leading day-to-day hospital operations. The CAO will also be instrumental in advancing quality, safety, and family-centered care, and supporting research growth, philanthropy, and market development. Applicants for the CAO and Director of Operations position at the company's Children's Hospital should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 9 years' experience in administrative and financial operations, including at least 3 years in a clinical environment. A strong background in managed care, medical practice, or a related clinical setting is essential, as is at least 5 years of direct supervisory or management experience. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in operational leadership, and a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
