Shift Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced quick service restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, managing team members, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Shift leaders will be assisting front of the house operations and back of the house operations, where the entire team will be working together. Duties - Supervise and coordinate daily activities of restaurant staff to ensure efficient operations. - Assist in either helping chef cutting vegetables / preparing meals, to training cashiers on how to keep restaurant tidy and in order, shift leaders role is to be a crucial piece within all operations of the business. - Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring accurate transactions and customer satisfaction. - Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. - Conduct inventory control to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize waste. - Train, mentor, and support team members in their roles to promote a positive work environment. - Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience. - Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Qualifications - Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles in a quick service fast food environment is strongly preferred. - Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques. - Proven ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others. - Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management processes. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - A commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining operational standards.
