Regional Sales Representative – Dairy (Midwest US)
Protekta USA supplies novel, science-based products to the North American dairy industry. We are hiring a Regional Sales Representative for the US Midwest to manage existing customer relationships, attract new business, and support distributors and nutritionists with on-farm implementation across the region.The role is the primary Protekta USA contact for producers, distributors, nutrition consultants, and vet clinics in seven Midwestern states. Day-to-day work is sales and customer relationship work: farm visits, joint calls with nutritionists, account development, and on-farm implementation support.The WorkManage and grow the existing customer base across the territoryIdentify new key accounts, understand their operations, and develop plans to win themSupport distributors and nutritionists with on-farm product implementationServe as the customer's first point of contact across the territoryCoordinate technical, purchasing, and value-added nutrition resources from Protekta USA headquarters in service of the territoryDevelop the annual territory plan with leadership, including sales targets, account strategy, and the conference and field-meeting calendarBuild deep product knowledge on Protekta USA's dairy product portfolio to engage credibly with technical buyersRepresent Protekta USA at industry meetings, conferences, and consulting-group events in the regionWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in feed, animal nutrition, management, or an adjacent dairy industry role preferredEstablished relationships with nutritionists, dairy operators, and channel partners in the MidwestBachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a Business-related field preferredComfortable working independently across a multi-state territory and documenting customer activity in CRM without daily promptingStrong written and verbal communication, including the ability to present to nutrition consulting groups and vet clinicsDetail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and projects in parallelWillingness to travel: primarily within the Midwest, with occasional national or international tripsLocationHome office in the Midwest.
