nTech Workforce has an immediate 23351 Executive Deskside Support TechnicianTerms of EmploymentW2 Contract, 12 Months (May be extended based on work performance)This is an onsite role at Baltimore, MDShift : 8am – 5pm (May be asked/required to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required during major refresh cycles)OverviewOur client is seeking an Executive Deskside Support Technician who would be responsible for providing day-to-day deskside support for executive users, including handling service requests such as loaners, PC returns, and hardware deployments. Also supports the execution of the PC refresh program, ensuring a seamless transition to newer, more efficient end-user devices.ResponsibilitiesProven ability to support senior leadership (VP+ / C-suite) with confidence, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skillsHardware Installation and Configuration: Install and configure new PCs, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for use.Software Deployment: Install, update, and configure operating systems and application software on new devices.Data Migration: Safely and efficiently transfer user data from old systems to new ones, ensuring no data loss and minimal disruption to users.Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory of all IT hardware and software, including maintaining records of equipment issuance and returns.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all processes, procedures, and configurations related to the PC refresh program.Coordination: Work closely with other IT team members, departments, and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.Quality Assurance: Ensure all new installations meet company standards and guidelines, conducting quality checks and tests as necessary.Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to IT and data securityRequired Skills & ExperienceDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Proven experience in an IT support or technician role, with a focus on hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.Strong knowledge of PC hardware, software, and operating systems, particularly Windows and MacOS.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.A customer-focused approach with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.CertificationsRelevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar are a plus.Benefits InformationMedical Insurance; Vision Insurance; Dental Insurance401K Retirement Plan (Discretionary Match Offered)Ancillary Coverage (Life, AD&D, Short Term / Long Term Disability)Employee Referral BonusBi-Weekly Direct DepositNote: As a contingent worker with nTech, you'll be paid for all approved hours worked; paid time off and paid holidays are not provided.nTech is an equal opportunity employer.
