The firm is led by two partners with over 35 combined years in the industry, and we operate as a small, flat team where every contribution is visible and every decision matters.The OpportunityCW Mineral Group is experiencing significant growth on the mineral management side of our business. We're engaging a Mineral Management Operations contractor to support our expanding client base and to assist with the operational backbone that makes CW run.This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys mineral management work, and wants to be part of a growing firm where their contributions directly shape how the business operates. You'll work alongside the rest of the team, interact with clients on day-to-day operational matters, and own the back-office functions that keep everything moving.What You'll DoMineral Management Delivery•        Support ongoing mineral management for CW's expanding client base.•        Work within our dedicated technology to maintain client information, track activity, and generate client updates.•        Partner with the team on revenue processing, division orders, leasing, and ad valorem tax workflows.•        Help ensure client records are accurate and current.Project Management & Operations•        Own the back-office functions that keep CW running — documentation, SOPs, file organization, and workflow tracking.•        Coordinate client onboarding and project timelines across the team.•        Identify process improvements and build them into the firm's operations.Client Interaction•        Serve as a professional point of contact for operational client matters — onboarding, reporting, and day-to-day questions.•        Communicate clearly and responsively with clients of all backgrounds, from individual owners to institutional stakeholders.Deal Coordination Support•        Provide back-office support for deal closings as needed, including document preparation, tracking, and coordination.What You BringRequired•        Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail — you enjoy bringing order to complex workflows.•        Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.•        Clear, professional written and verbal communication.•        Self-directed work style — you run your own calendar and hit your deliverables.•        Comfortable working in a small, growing firm where roles evolve and initiative is rewarded.Nice to Have•        Experience at a mineral management firm, trust department, family office, or oil and gas operator.•        Familiarity with mineral concepts: leases, DOIs, revenue processing, ad valorem tax.•        Bachelor's degree in a related field.You'll Thrive Here If•        You like the operational side of the business — the checklists, the systems, the details that make everything work.•        You want to learn the mineral business deeply and grow with a firm that's actively expanding.•        You enjoy being the person who makes things run, not the person out front.•        You're comfortable with client interaction but don't need it to be the core of your role.CompensationYour compensation includes three components:•        Competitive base compensation, paid in equal monthly installments.•        CW pays 100% of healthcare costs.•        New business incentives.Full compensation details, including benefits and incentives, will be discussed during the interview process.Engagement Terms•        The role is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma with flexibility to work remotely.•        Non-solicitation and non-compete provisions apply during and after the engagement.How to ApplySend your resume and a brief note about why this role fits to Wes@CWMineralGroup.com with the subject line "Mineral Management Operations – [Your Name]."CW Mineral Group is an equal opportunity employer.We welcome qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
