Database Administrator

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Assess, audit, analyze, validate, and report on database Security Requirements Guide (SRG) and STIG vulnerabilities.• Ensure security controls are implemented in accordance with government cybersecurity policies and procedures.• Implement and maintain DISA STIGs for various database platforms including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.• Perform vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and remediate security weaknesses.• Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and contribute to Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.• Troubleshoot and resolve database problems, perform database recovery actions, and apply necessary patches.What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least eight years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Database Administrator.• Minimum of 5 years of Oracle Database Administration experience.• In-depth experience implementing and maintaining database security controls and applying patches.• In-depth experience with Linux security as it relates to Oracle databases.• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($107,900 - $195,050) plus potential for bonuses.• Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, holidays, and 401K with company match.• Opportunities for technical upskilling, education, and training support.• Flexible scheduling options available.Apply via Haystack today!
