This position offers an opportunity to grow professionally while playing a key role in helping farmers and growers maximize production while controlling pests.Key Responsibilities:Make fertilizer, chemical, and seed recommendations to growers and farmersWork alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilitiesFacilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat businessPrepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactionsForecast supply requirements by month and annual basisPerform a variety of agronomic duties independentlyKeep up to date on all agronomy services and technology.Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years' experience in retail agronomy sales in chemicals, fertilizer, and seed.A bachelor's degree or higher in an agricultural related fieldVast knowledge of crop productionProven leadership, decision-making, and communication skillsSelf-motivated, ability to work independently and with a teamMust currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's licensePlease submit a current resume for consideration.
