Position: Unarmed Security GuardLocation: Phoenix, AZCompany: Delta Security ServicesJob Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeShift: All shifts availablePay Rate: Starting at $18.00 / DOEJob Overview:Delta Security Services is seeking responsible and professional Unarmed Security Guards to join our growing team. Guards will provide a visible presence to deter unwanted activity, report safety or security concerns, and respond to incidents as needed. This position requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while following post instructions.Responsibilities: Patrol & Surveillance:Conduct regular patrols of the assigned property (vehicle or foot, as required)Monitor property and activity to detect signs of crime, disorder, safety hazards, or rule violationsRemain alert and observant throughout the shiftCheck for open doors, broken gates, lights out, and other issues that may compromise securityCustomer Service & Communication: Provide professional customer service to residents, visitors, employees, or vendorsCommunicate clearly and respectfully with clients, law enforcement, and company staffRespond to questions or concerns in a professional mannerReport any suspicious activity or persons to dispatch or managementIncident Response & Reporting: Respond to incidents including disturbances, trespassing, unauthorized access, or safety concernsComplete accurate written reports at the end of each shift and after any incidentNotify dispatch, supervisors, or emergency services when necessaryFollow all site-specific post orders and company protocolsSite Monitoring & Safety: Ensure secure access to buildings, gates, or restricted areasPerform lockups and unlocks when requiredObserve and report maintenance or safety issues such as broken lighting, leaking water, or hazardous conditionsRemain professional and visible to promote a sense of safety for clients and guestsQualifications & Requirements: Valid unarmed security guard license (Arizona Guard Card)Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to walk or stand for extended periodsMust have reliable transportation and a working phoneStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow post instructions and company proceduresMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningPreferred Qualifications: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or militaryBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusCPR/First Aid certification is a plusWhy Join Delta Security Services?
