QA/Test Engineer

SupraSoft, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Sr. QA/Test Engineer (Ref# SQA65US).Job DutiesTo work in Schaumburg, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.Lead the quality assurance (QA) analysis and testing of critical business software applications.Responsible for all phases of the QA/testing life-cycle.Gather/analyze the business and functional requirements and specifications to build the testing life-cycle, including the creation and documentation of test plans, test strategy, test scenarios, test cases, and/or test scripts.Execute the test scripts and create the test data.Create and execute tests to identify software problems and causes.Prepare and review test data, test scenarios, and test cases for manual and/or automated testing.Perform testing including system, functional, integration, regression, and/or user acceptance testing to ensure applications / products meet the requirements.Identify the testing dependencies and risks.Review test results, identify and log defects, and analyze and make recommendations for improvements.Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking.Follow established QA best practices, standards, and processes.Mentor and coach junior quality/test engineers.Travel and/or relocation required.RequirementsThis position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, CIS, MIS, or a related field.2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Test Analyst, Quality Analyst, Test Lead, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related experience.Will accept a Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience.Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein.40 hrs/week.Salary$ 116,085 / yearApplication InstructionsTo apply, please mail resume to referenced address, ensuring to indicate the position reference code (Ref# SQA65US) for which you are applying.
