Electrical Project EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead the electrical design and delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects. The role combines technical design, project management, and client coordination to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and budgetary objectives. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with strong electrical engineering expertise and practical experience using Revit for design documentation.Key responsibilities include:Leading electrical design and engineering for projects from concept through construction, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.Developing detailed electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations, and equipment schedules using Revit and other design tools.Coordinating with architects, structural and MEP disciplines, contractors, and clients to resolve design issues and integrate systems.Preparing cost estimates, reviewing contractor bids, and supporting procurement of electrical equipment and materials.Managing project schedules, milestones, and budgets; tracking progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.Performing site visits and construction administration, including review of shop drawings, submittals, and progress inspections.Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards (NEC, NFPA, local codes), and client requirements; leading design QA/QC processes.Mentoring junior engineers and technicians, reviewing deliverables, and supporting resource planning and team development.Participating in client meetings, presenting technical solutions, and providing status reports to project stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in relevant state(s) required6+ years of electrical engineering experience in building or industrial projects, including design and construction support.Proficient in Revit (BIM) for electrical modeling, drawing production, and coordination.Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards, and local electrical codes.Experience with electrical load calculations, short-circuit analysis, coordination studies, and lighting design.Proven project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.Excellent technical writing and presentation skills; ability to prepare clear specifications and reports.Ability to travel to project sites as required and perform field inspections.Benefits:Vacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
