Founding Full-Stack Engineer — React/Next.js + Python for Global Mental Health (Part-Time/Equity-Only)

This isn't a job. It's a mission. One billion people are struggling with their mental health. 700,000 preventable deaths each year. Only a fraction ever reach the right provider because borders, languages, and broken marketplaces stand in the way.Unacceptable. We're fixing it.Really Global is building the world's first truly global, provider-centric mental health marketplace — so anyone, anywhere, can find the right human in their language, at a price they can afford. We're already live at really.global in 200+ countries. The foundation exists. Now we build hard on top of it — fast, carefully, and with people who can actually move. The Opportunity: Build Like a Team of OneThis is pure sweat equity for a senior full-stack engineer who ships — not someone learning to ship, someone who already does it in their sleep. Sometimes literally: you've got agents working while you're asleep, and you wake up to review what they built. We're past the point of needing more hands. We need more leverage. The developers who move the needle here aren't grinding out one ticket at a time — they've learned to operate like a small team by themselves, orchestrating AI to handle the volume while they own the judgment. If that's already how you work, this was built for you.Typical commitment: up to ~10 hours per week, equity-only, alongside your primary role. (Will likely look like 1 hour throughout each day to keep your LLM/Agent working around the clock.)Who You Are (and how you show up)You build because you can't not. A good problem gets under your skin, and you'll find the hours for it even in a slammed week — not out of obligation, but because shipping the thing is where you come alive. Your agents are what make that possible: they carry the grind so your energy goes where it counts. You operate, you don't just code. You don't wait to be handed tickets one at a time. You take a problem, break it down, and drive it to shipped — pulling in whatever tooling and automation gets you there fastest. You're comfortable being the most senior person in the room and the one actually doing the work. You've already gone all-in on AI. Nobody has to sell you on it. You run your own setup — your own agents, your own workflows — and you've felt the gap firsthand between people who delegate to machines and people still typing every line by hand. You're on the premium plans, running multiple agents — because you know the cheap tier can't cross the gap between orchestrating machines and typing every line by hand. The tooling pays for itself in leverage. You've shipped things people depend on. You know what "done" actually means in production because you've been the one paged when it wasn't. That's given you instincts you can't fake and can't shortcut.Maybe you lead now — and you miss this. Perhaps your day job moved you up and away from the keyboard, into reviews and roadmaps and standups. Part of you misses owning something end to end with your name on it. This is that thing. (To be clear: here, you're a builder, not a manager. That's the point.)Self-propelled. Nobody is going to manage you — and you'd hate it if they tried. The roadmap is there. The rest is on you. You're motivated by ownership, not oversight.Candid and low-drama. You can explain a hard trade-off to a non-technical founder without condescension, and push back on a bad idea without turning it into a fight. What You'll Build (and why it matters)This is real production software serving real users in 200+ countries, so everything ships carefully, reversibly, and under review.Core platform features and APIs — discovery, matching, booking, scheduling, messaging, provider operations — the surfaces a billion people will eventually touch. The hard parts, not the boilerplate. You let your agents handle the grind so you can focus on the data modeling, edge cases, and architecture decisions that actually matter.AI-powered booking and live translation — real-time audio translation and frictionless booking that make quality care as easy to reach as ordering dinner. This is core to the MVP we're shipping right now, and you'll build it.Speed without lowering the bar — reviewed, reversible, tested. We move fast because the tooling lets us, not because we cut corners. Our stack: Next.js/React on the front; Python services on the back; PostgreSQL underneath; hosted on Azure; GitHub, Jira, and AI-native workflows (Claude Code, Codex, and whatever you already run) to move faster without lowering the bar.Your Leverage Is Your StakeHere's the part most equity deals won't tell you straight: what you earn here is capped only by what you can ship.We measure contribution in Story Points — a unit of complexity and outcome, not hours. Equity comes from a dedicated 5% contributor pool, and it accrues to the people who put work into production. So the developer who orchestrates agents to ship three times the output earns three times the ownership. Same hours. Different leverage.Bring your horsepower. The more you can automate, the more you can ship — and the more of this company you own. It's that direct. We're not paying for time in a seat; we're paying for value in production. The people who win biggest here are the ones who've figured out how to be a force multiplier on themselves. The Deal: Transparent Equity PartnershipPoints for outcomes. Contribution is measured in Story Points — complexity and impact, not hours. Efficiency is rewarded, not punished.Merit-based ownership. Points translate directly to equity from a dedicated 5% contributor pool. Your stake grows with everything you ship. All real work counts. Features, migrations, performance, hardening, documentation, incident response — if it's production value, it earns.Earned on shipped value. Ownership accrues only when your work is reviewed and approved by a designated Reviewer of Record (never the author).Earn from day one. No cliff. No 90-day pilot. No probation. Your first accepted, production-bound work earns equity — right away. You keep what you earn. Equity accrues as you ship, and what's earned is always yours.Real-time transparency. A live dashboard you can check anytime, refreshed weekly — so you always know exactly where your equity stands.Locked-in stake. When we close our first priced round, the program freezes and everyone's earned percentage becomes a fixed part of the cap table. No hours theater. No politics. Value in production = ownership. It's all codified in a clear, transparent agreement covering equity, vesting, IP, and security — about 20 minutes of reading. The Honest PartThis is a side project. You have a day job, a life, obligations. We respect all of it — we're not asking you to trade any of it.What makes this work is leverage and consistency, not raw hours. When there's work, the people who thrive put in real, focused time — call it up to around 10 hours in a heavy week, sometimes far less, sometimes zero. That's fine. The one thing that doesn't work here is going dark. So the bar is simple and concrete: reply to Slack DMs within 24 hours, and keep your Jira tasks current each week. That's it — not a quota, just enough signal that you're still in it. If you go quiet and we can't get it moving again after an honest conversation, either of us can call it — and we part as friends, no drama. The people who fit here get energy from building something meaningful — and because their agents carry the load, it folds into how they already work instead of eating their life.. They're senior enough to work without a net, equipped enough to move fast, and self-driven enough to not need anyone standing over them.If that's you — if owning a real piece of a platform that could change how a billion people reach care sounds like the thing you've been looking for — APPLY NOW.
