Associate Director – AR & Denial Prevention

Job Description: Responsible for the strategic oversight and operational execution of all AR follow-up, denial prevention, appeals, and various receivables across Boomerang Healthcare (BHC).Ensure aggressive, compliant, and timely recovery of revenue while minimizing aging AR and reducing denial rates.Oversee internal AR teams and external vendors.Collaborate with Billing Operations leadership, Revenue Integrity, Compliance, and Finance.Lead all AR follow-up functions across: Commercial, Medicare, Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, and Self-pay.Establish and monitor KPI dashboards and other performance metrics.Develop AR work queue stratification models and present monthly AR performance to executive leadership.Oversee denial management team and implement structured denial root cause analysis process.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance, or related field7-10+ years progressive RCM leadership experience3+ years managing AR in a high pace high volume environmentStrong experience in pain management, workers comp, or procedural-based specialties.Demonstrated success leading billing insourcing or large-scale RCM transformations.Strong knowledge of CPT billingExcellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Experience with multiple EHR/ Practice Management systems (IMS, Nextgen, Athena, eClinicalWorks or similar)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and solid skills in other Microsoft Office applications.Benefits: Generous Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription benefits (PPO & HMO)401(K) Plan with Employer MatchingLicense & Tuition ReimbursementsPaid Time OffHoliday Pay & Floating HolidayEmployee Perks and Discount ProgramsSupportive environment to help you grow and succeed
