Truck Driver/Agronomy Operations
Location: Slayton, MN, 56172Employment Position OverviewThe Truck Driver is responsible for transporting agricultural products and equipment to various locations, as well as assisting with agronomy operations tasks.Essential FunctionsOperate trucks to transport agricultural products and equipment to designated locationsAssist with loading and unloading materialsPerform routine maintenance on trucks and equipmentFollow all safety procedures and regulationsAssist with company-wide trucking operations during periods of high demandDelivers excellent customer service.Works in an effective and efficient manner. Always represent yourself and Farmward professionally in action and appearance - positively enriching the culture of Farmward Cooperative.Attend meetings.Education/Experience/Licensing/Other:High School graduate requiredMust have a valid commercial driver’s license with hazard, tanker and other DOT endorsements.Must have valid health cardAg background a plusStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsTeamwork skillsCurrent driver’s license.Must be able to maintain driving record that will meet our insurance carrier’s requirements.Must be in good physical condition capable of lifting, carrying and pushing weights up to 100 pounds and have full use of both arms and legs and both hands.Must be able to climb stairs, reach above, below and at shoulder level, work on moving machinery, and work at unprotected heights with dust, fumes or gas and in temperature extremes both inside and outside.Be able to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.Pre-employment and random drug testing required.Must attend all training sessions required by law.Good math skills.Pay Range: $20 - $27 per hour
