And our work depends on a Frontend Software Developer joining our team to support Government activities at Chantilly, VA.GDIT is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team of building scalable, maintainable and high-performance UI applications using a microservices architecture. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing application frontend framework and technologies, with a focus on building modular, loosely coupled components that integrate with our backend microservices. You will work closely with our development team to build reusable UI components, optimize UI performance and ensure accessibility.Required Experience With:Demonstrated hand on experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, and proficiency in building reusable UI componentsStrong understanding of UI design principles, human-computer interaction and user experience (UX) best practicesExperience with JavaScript and TypeScript, with a focus on building responsive and interactive UI componentsFamiliarity with UI development tools such as Angular, HTML, Material, and CSS preprocessors like SassExperience with building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating them with UI componentsStrong understanding of UI performance optimization techniques, such as code splitting, lazy loading, and cachingExperience with version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.,)Experience with Utilizing CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesExperience with designing and implementing UI components that interact with backend services, such as AWS Services (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB)Security clearance: TS/SCI with PolygraphLocation: Chantilly, VA (On Customer Site)US Citizenship RequiredDesired Experience With:Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Karma, JasmineFamiliarity with UI design systems and style guides, such as Material UI or BootstrapExperience with building and maintaining complex, data-driven UI componentsKnowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices for guiding accessible UI componentsFamiliarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XDExperience working on large scale complex UID codebaseNice to HaveExperience with other frontend Frameworks such as React or Vue.jsFamiliarity with backend technologies such as Java, Python or Node.jsExperiences with AWS Services such as EKS ad Step Functions#WeAreGDIT#JET#GDITEnhanced2026#VA_2026AlumniThe likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
