As an Armed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and safety of the assigned site. Job Summary: Maintain the security and safety of the assigned site through regular patrols Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Respond to emergency situations and provide security assistance Engage with the public to offer assistance and directions Monitor closed-circuit television for potential issues Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain a physical presence within the facility as a visible deterrent to illegal activity Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports Prevent unauthorized access to the area and items within Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Must be 21 years old Must have valid armed license where required Strong commitment to the well-being of others Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in using computer systems and applications Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of related experience Active Armed Security license Valid Driver's License Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for up to 4 hours Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds Must stay alert at all times PalAmerican Security Care CultureAt PalAmerican Security, ourCARE Cultureis the cornerstone of our people-first approach and is embodied in every interaction: CuriousWe embrace continuous learning and encourage team members to seek opportunities for growth and innovation.
