Russian-Speaking Nanny in Manhattan Position: Full-Time Nanny Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00/9:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM Salary/Benefits: $30-$40/hour, DOE + 2 Weeks PTO + Paid Major Holidays Start Date: August 2026 (Early-Mid August) Relocation: No - local candidates preferred About the Family A warm family located in Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan is seeking an experienced, nurturing Russian-speaking nanny to care for their newborn baby. The family recently welcomed their child two weeks ago and is looking for someone who can grow with their family long-term. One parent is fluent in Russian, making Russian-speaking language skills a requirement for the role. The family is looking for a nanny who is proactive, engaging, knowledgeable in Russian culture, and passionate about child development. They value a calm, loving presence and someone who enjoys getting children out and about for enriching activities as the child grows. Responsibilities:• Provide attentive, loving care for the newborn baby • Support healthy developmental milestones and age-appropriate routines • Prepare healthy meals for the child as they grow • Handle children's laundry and maintain organization of nursery/child-related items • Perform light tidying related to the child • Plan engaging, educational outings including parks, museums, and activities throughout the city as the child gets older • Maintain open communication with the family and support a positive household environment Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate is warm, experienced, proactive, and highly engaging with children. The family would love someone knowledgeable in Russian culture who can naturally incorporate the language into the child's daily life. A calm, organized, and thoughtful approach is important, along with prior experience caring for infants and growing with families long-term. Requirements: • Must speak Russian fluently • Prior newborn/infant experience required • Reliable, organized, and proactive • Comfortable navigating NYC and planning enriching outings for children • Ability to pass background and reference checks
