Overnight Front Desk Clerk

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Front Desk Clerk to join our hotel team. This role is vital in ensuring seamless guest experiences during nighttime hours, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality/interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for guest relations. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic resort environment where professionalism and guest satisfaction are top priorities. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00pm until 7:00am overnight. Fill in occasionally for vacation coverage and additional help. Experience preferred in some capacity - training will be provided Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, handling guest inquiries and reservations Conduct night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial records and reporting Address guest needs and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during overnight hours Update guest information in the hotel management system accurately and efficiently Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and facilities are operational Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, guest services, and hospitality management throughout the shift Experience Prior experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred Strong background in customer service within a hospitality setting, especially resort environments Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests Experience with night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems is a plus Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems preferred Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise Ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor during overnight hours Pay: From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
