Job Description & RequirementsPediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $101.85 - $110.25This facility is seeking a Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.Details And Requirements For This OpportunitySchedule: M-F, 12-hour, Day shifts at Miller Family Campus and Salt Lake go from 0600-1800 and night shifts from 1800-0600Practice Setting: Inpatient, 2 sitesType of cases and required procedures: Drain removal - chest tubes, surgically placed drains (Blake, JP, Penrose), Gastric tube replacement, Dilation of gastrostomy tracts, Repair of simple lacerations, Anal dilations, Rectal irrigations, First assist in OR when neededCredentialing timeframe: 45-60 daysElectronic Medical Record (EMR): EpicCertifications required: Must be board certified, must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Licensure required: Utah license preferred, but will accept Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) candidatesFacility LocationSurrounded by soaring mountain ranges, Salt Lake City boasts beautiful scenery and a bustling city scene.
