Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.This role will lead a high-performing engineering organization focused on building and operating AI-enabled platform capabilities that support regulated enterprise communications. You will own architecture, delivery, and team development while partnering closely with Product, Legal, and Compliance to ensure scalable, compliant execution. The position also plays a key role in shaping cloud infrastructure strategy and advancing automation across messaging and AI systems.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $106,605 – $260,590 annuallyResponsibilities Lead and grow a team of engineers, testers, and data engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development Own the architecture and delivery of multi-agent AI systems on Vertex AI Oversee the organization’s enterprise SMS and RCS messaging platforms Engineer TCPA compliance controls, including consent management and opt-out workflows Drive a GCP-first infrastructure strategy across Google Cloud services Partner with Product, Legal, and Compliance to implement regulatory requirementsQualifications 8+ years in software engineering 4+ years managing engineering teams Production experience with LLMs or agentic AI systems in enterprise environments Hands-on GCP expertise, including Vertex AI, GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery Deep knowledge of SMS/RCS messaging, including short codes, aggregators, and carrier networks Working knowledge of TCPA compliance and consent management systemsBenefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off Retirement savings options Wellness programs Resources supporting physical, emotional, and financial well-beingOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
