We are looking for someone that can interact at various levels of management at very large clients where they are able to communicate answers back to their questions. We are looking for someone that can manage the day to day operations of a team of 5-10 staff members. We are looking for a candidate that is organized and multitask and be able to think independently. You will help us build resilience and execute day to day deliverables at our best.Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs Assistant Vice President you willSupervise all junior and senior level staff analystsManage client relationships with both client personnel and fund investorsReview quarterly and annual financial work paper packages including portfolio schedules, accruals and partnership capital allocationsReview quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotesReview and/or preparation of capital calls and distributions, including notices and release merged documentsReview quarterly management fee calculationsReview and/or preparation of various client related correspondenceWork with internal teams regarding client deliverables such as financial statements, capital calls and distribution noticesHeavy client interaction on a daily basisCoordination of annual audit and tax return preparation with Big 4 accounting firmsReview and/or preparation of waterfall and capital account allocationsUnderstand how to navigate through limited partnership agreementMaintain working relationship with all client contacts, including investment professionals, investors, auditors, lawyers and banking personnelEnsure compliance with investment fund legal documents, i.e. partnership agreementAssist accounting managers to ensure compliance with investment fund agreements and other legal documentsSpecial client projectsManage internal workflow and client deadlinesWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleStrong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skillsGood organizational skillsGood communication skillsEducation & Preferred Qualifications5-7 Years of Accounting experience5-7 Yeas of Alternative Investment experience5-7 Years of Managing a teamMCH and Excel knowledgeSalary Range:$90,000 - $157,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
