You'll be the financial modeling engine behind a portfolio of owner-operated businesses, building from scratch, thinking critically, and communicating directly with founders who are counting on your work to make real decisions.The title is flexible, Analyst or Senior Analyst, depending on where you are in your career. What matters more is that you're sharp, fast, client-ready, and genuinely excited about the kind of work we do.You'll collaborate closely with our founder, Accounting Managers, Staff Accountants, and Bookkeepers, a tight-knit team where everyone is in it together and nothing falls through the cracks.What You'll Do:Client Advisory & Financial Strategy:Manage multiple client engagements concurrently with strong organization and prioritizationServe as a strategic financial partner to assigned clientsBuild strong, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and financial goals, ensuring a long-term engagement and client retentionLead financial review meetings, presenting insights, trends, and recommendationsHelp clients understand key drivers of revenue, cost, and profitabilityProvide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planningSupport business decision-making (hiring, pricing, expansion, cost control, etc.)Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis packages, including:KPI dashboardsTrend analysisMargin and profitability analysisCash flow projectionsTranslate financial data into clear, concise narratives for non-financial stakeholdersCustomize reporting based on client needs and industryImplement and improve financial planning tools and dashboards by leveraging technology to automate and enhance reportingStandardize FP&A processes across client engagementsPartner with Accounting Managers to ensure alignment between financial reporting and forecastingForecasting, Budgeting, & Cash Flow:Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insightsStrong business acumen and strategic thinking skillsStrong ability to build partnerships with business owners and client leadership teamsStrong client service and relationship management skillsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical capabilitiesStrong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate with managers, clients, customers, contractors, peers and vendorsProblem-solving mindset with a proactive approachAbility to work in fast paced and results driven environmentLearn quickly, understand/follow instruction and adapt to new problems and situationsTeam player; ability to cultivate team environmentMust be tactful and able to resolve disputesAbility to present professional appearance and behavior in accordance company policiesAbility to meet all safety and physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodationWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial consultingExperience working with multiple clients or business unitsPrior experience managing multiple clients/accounts simultaneouslyExperience working with small to mid-sized businessesFamiliarity with outsourced accounting or fractional CFO environmentsUnderstanding of GAAP and financial statementsStrong proficiency in Excel (scenario modeling, advanced formulas)Experience with financial reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)/Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail)Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and ERP software (Netsuite, Brightpearl, etc.)What Success Looks Like:Clients rely on you as a strategic partner, not just a financial analystForecasts are accurate, insightful, and drive better business decisionsFinancial insights are clear, actionable, and tailored to each clientProactively identify risks and opportunities before they impact performanceReporting processes are efficient, scalable, and value-drivenYou contribute to a team culture where people invest in each other's growth and genuinely enjoy working togetherWhy Paprika Partners:We built the firm we wished existed.
