POSITION: Training Operations Specialist IRESPONSIBLE TO: Training Operations ManagerJOB SUMMARY: A Training Operations Specialist is responsible for training providers, management, and clinical staff on the Practice Management, EHR, and any other clinical and business-related systems across the United States. In addition, the Training Operations Specialist will educate and exemplify Allergy Partners' best practices and workflows. This position will work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure that the physicians, clinical staff, and management team members individually acquire knowledge and proficiency relative to Allergy Partners' clinical and business applications and systems.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:The Specialist is responsible for training and monitoring the development of the management staff, clinical staff, and physicians with delivery of content-specific curriculums within the organization.The Specialist will be responsible for the proficiency and efficiency of the clinical and practice management systems used to provide patient care.As an integral member of a collaborative training team, the Specialist will help to develop training programs and competency testing in accordance with Allergy Partners initiatives, as well as provide education and training regarding health information systems.The Specialist will work closely with subject matter experts to assure course content and delivery models meet the needs of targeted audiences and will be responsible for continuous quality improvement efforts aimed at cultivating the Enterprise usage of the clinical systems.Collaborate with members of the training team and cross-functional team to understand the workflows and system use in the practices. Ensures that workflows are followed and workarounds are discouraged.Designs, recommends, implements, and administers the education/training program for the clinics.Collaborates in the development and delivery of content-specific, competency-based education programs as assigned, including new hire and end-user functional training program.Delivery of training programs which may include one on one, classroom, remote hosted, or web-based models.In collaboration with clinical and operational leadership, develops and maintains a clinical competency program.Provide training support at various locations as requested.Utilize available standardized courses and instructor evaluation processes.Assist with documentation and maintenance of development standards and processes.Provide related training reports to Allergy Partners leadership on a regular basis.Collaborate with other team members and lend support to development and delivery initiatives.Follow and participate in all aspects of Change Management where applicable.Collaborate and develop a standard of user-friendly documentation, coursework, process flows, etc.Other duties as assigned by the Training Operations Manager. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has minimal supervisory responsibilities including training project oversight and responsibilities delegated by the Training Operations Manager.Typical Physical DemandsPosition requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.Typical Working ConditionNormal office environment with regular site visits in a medical practice setting. Occasional evening or weekend work is required. Overnight travel roughly 50% of the time may be required.OTHERCompletes all assigned AP training (such as CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, Information Security, others) within designated timeframes.Complies with Allergy Partners and respective hub/department policies and reports incidents of policy violations to a Supervisor/Manager/Director, Department of Compliance & Privacy or via the AP EthicsPoint hotline.Models the AP Code of Conduct and demonstrates a commitment to the AP Compliance Program, standards and policies.The salary range posted for this position is the national average, however, actual compensation may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma required.Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.Current certificate or license preferred (i.e., CMA, RMA, LPN, or RN).Healthcare management and/or training experience strongly preferred. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:The Specialist will be required to consistently demonstrate solid organizational, management, and facilitation skills, professional behaviors, and technical expertise in all aspects of the curriculum design and delivery.This position is vital in the deployment of systems to the practices and the person will be required to demonstrate a strong service commitment by going above and beyond within the team to enhance the use of the clinical systems by physicians and staff.The Specialist will have excellent communication skills and have a strong sense of the technology needs of our providers, clinicians, caregivers, and management staff.Experience/knowledge of basic computer usage and troubleshooting; clinical system applications, basic coding, and clinical quality reporting (i.e. Meaningful Use).Ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient privacy.Strong presentation skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent listening skills.Ability to communicate across departments professionally and effectively with all colleagues and with other external professionals.Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition (such as time pressure or job ambiguity); handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization.Ability to travel (50% away from home).The salary range posted for this position is the national average; however, actual compensation may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
