Marine Construction Crew Member

We are a full-service commercial and residential marine construction business looking to hire 2 full-time employees. South Cape Maritime is a fully licensed (North Carolina unlimited) and insured contractor in the Wilmington, NC vicinity. The company offers pile driving, bulkhead installations, dredging, dock repairs/construction, and boat lifts. Looking for hard working foreman/deckhand/framer/carpenter to build decks, docks, and bulkheads in the Wilmington, NC area. Employee will be required to: Have good balance with ability to work on a barge or docks, outside, in and around water General knowledge of tools, and willingness to learn Materials mobilization, demo and cleanup required Willingness to work around heavy equipment Ability to interface with other employees as a crew and be reliable Hours - Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm daily Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Job Type: Full-time Salary: average $15-35.00/hour, depending on experience and work ethic Experience Preferred: Barge loading and hauling on trailers: 1 year Live within 25 miles of Wilmington: 6 months Heavy labor, framing or carpentry: ~ 2 years Education: High school or equivalent Location: Wilmington, NC South Cape Maritime provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
