Responsibilities include scoping, planning, monitoring, delivering, and reporting on all projects as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project results. The role provides a unique opportunity to manage projects as well as in some instances, quarterback project execution.LocationThis position will work from our Boston, MA or Las Vegas, NV office. Great Gray currently supports a hybrid work model with 4 days onsite, and 1 day remote.Visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.ResponsibilitiesLead and direct projects ensuring familiarity with scope and project objectivesEstablish and document clear roles and responsibilities for project team membersDevelop and update project plans including tasks, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, timeline, and statusCommunicate project plans to affected parties to ensure a common understanding, setting proper expectations, and aligning stakeholders and project team membersEnsure execution of tasks defined in the project plan to achieve the project goalsMonitor project work and execute change control where necessaryManage project in Smartsheet, which is the Enterprise Project Management SoftwareManage project budget, if applicableFacilitate project meetings and create & publish all project and meeting materialsIdentify, capture and escalate any project issues, risks, actions, and blockersManage changes to project scope and scheduleIdentify risk-related issues needing escalation to executive managementDevelop and execute change management plan, if applicableInteract with employees at all levels of the organization as well as external partners involved in projectsComplete other related duties as assigned Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a business-related fieldMinimum of 6-10 years of business experience. Some experience in an operational or shared service role is preferredMinimum 4 years of project management experienceExperience in a variety of project types, business and back office, is requiredExperience in the financial services industry, technology industry or management consulting is preferredExperience working with or managing Smartsheet is preferredPMP and Agile certification a plusMust be proficient in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skills, particularly an ability to negotiate, influence, tell a story, bridge different vantage points and gain consensus with employees at all organizational levelsIn-depth knowledge of project management methodologyStrong interpersonal skills necessary for building relationships within and outside the companyAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work under time constraints to support various assignmentsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectivelyComfortable navigating ambiguityEntrepreneurial mindset to bring best practice ideas to the teamExhibits our Great Gray attributes: Results-Driven, Innovative, Resilient, and Decisive BenefitsWe have a comprehensive and competitive benefits package at Great Gray.
