Senior Windows System Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Systems Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert within a large enterprise infrastructure environment. This individual will play a key role in designing, supporting, and optimizing Windows-based systems while collaborating across multiple technical teams to resolve complex infrastructure challenges.Required QualificationsProven experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in large-scale Windows Server environments.Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical efforts and drive issue resolution across multiple teams.Strong expertise with:Windows Server 2019, 2022, and newer versionsHyper-V and VMware ESX virtualizationWindows ClusteringActive Directory Domain ServicesDNS and DHCPSSL/TLS technologiesNetwork infrastructure, DMZs, and security zonesHands-on experience supporting and maintaining enterprise server hardware, including rack-mounted servers, blade servers, and blade chassis infrastructure.Experience managing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure environments.Advanced PowerShell scripting expertise.Strong knowledge of Group Policy (GPO) administration, LDAP, and domain controller integrations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, challenges, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with enterprise server and infrastructure hardware solutions.Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure.Microsoft, virtualization, or networking certifications.Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments.Working knowledge of LDAP, certificate services, PKI, and certificate authority infrastructure.Experience with enterprise systems management and monitoring tools such as configuration management, monitoring, observability, and infrastructure management platforms.Familiarity with ITIL best practices and service management frameworks.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication abilities.Key SkillsWindows Server | Active Directory | PowerShell | Hyper-V | VMware ESX | DNS | DHCP | GPO | LDAP | Azure | Windows Clustering | Infrastructure Engineering | Enterprise Systems Administration | SQL Server | PKI | Network Security
