Surgical Tech Location: Fort Wayne, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,272 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0600-1830 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical tech role, with 1-2 years of experience in vascular surgery preferred License: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: Ability to perform in an OR and hybrid room setting Description: General job duties include performing vascular surgeries alongside the vascular surgeon. Procedures include carotids, open leg bypasses, endoluminal stent grafts, TCARS, angiograms, and percutaneous leg stenting/procedures. The equipment utilized in the unit includes a hybrid room on a Phillips system. The position requires skills in both OR and hybrid room settings. On call duties are required about every 4th weekend, with 1-2 nights of call during the week. Possible floating to general, ortho, or neuro departments may occur. There are 4 CVOR rooms and 1 hybrid room in the unit. Surgical staff will have a preceptor for 2 weeks and will be expected to perform independently thereafter.
