Job DetailsDescriptionJob Description:The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. They will be the first introduction to Evolve for customers both in person and on the phone, assisting in the customer service for all areas of the bank.Main Job Tasks And ResponsibilitiesAnswers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and transfers telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.Greets and screens incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival.Sorts incoming mail by department.Receives and signs for overnight and courier packages, then notifies the appropriate person with a call or email.Operates standard office equipment including:Multi-line telephone systemFacsimile machinePhotocopy machinePostage meterCalculatorComputer/printerAssist Mortgage, Trust and other departments in mailings, filing, etc.Types correspondence and memorandums in proper format, proofreads and mails as assigned.Enters data into Vendor Management system as need for Accounting.Creates FedEx air bills as needed for co-workersPerforms other related duties as assigned.Education And ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.Prior general office experience helpful.Key CompetenciesOral Communication SkillsWritten Communication SkillsTelephone EtiquetteProofreading SkillsCustomer ServiceDiplomacyProfessionalismFilingMath AptitudeOrganizationTime ManagementComputer LiteracyKeyboard Skills
