Machine Operator

Experienced Production Associate (HIGH HEAT/HEAVY LIFTING/LOTS OF MEASURING) WORK IS IN GREER OFF HWY 101. Metal Fab/Production Plant (ovens to melt products give off HEAT). Must be able to work in HIGH HEAT year round and physically strong. ***MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST for the 1st week *** We currently have 1 opening on 3rd 1st shift: $21.12/hr 3rd shift: $22.17 IN OFFICE TESTING REQUIRED! Excellent math skills including the ability to understand fractions, decimals, and reading rulers and other measuring tools. You need to be able to read a tape measure easily and must have machine operating experience to be considered. This is a physically demanding role. Steel-toed boots are required. Overtime can be required as well. FIRM ATTENDANCE POLICY. You must have a valid Drivers license and your own reliable vehicle to be considered. Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test and 7-year national criminal background check. Job tasks include BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Loading and unloading Machines Using Hoists, cranes, and forklifts Running Shot peens and hydraulic presses Packing springs for shipment Checking spring dimensions with rulers, micrometers, and squares General material handling and assisting qualified operators in their jobs Cleaning and organizing Demonstrating safe work behaviors Employees must be able and willing to work in the following work environment: Participate as part of a production team Handle tasks required changing on a daily or more frequent basis Work in a production cell with multiple machines and products Learn from peers and other production employees Work within the structure of a ISO 9001 quality system Work permanently on the shift assigned Experience in the above tasks is not required but strongly preferred. Qualifications Include High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent math skills including the ability to understand fractions, decimals, and reading rulers and other measuring tools Ability to stand for up to eight hours Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times in an hour.
