Program Reporting Specialist

We’re looking to add an attention-to-detail Reporting Reporting Specialist to our team. This position is responsible for the accuracy of the Early Care and Education (ECE) unit data, the compliance of ECE quality activities, and the auditing process. This position reports to the Early Care and Education Manager.

You Have:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant work experience in professional environment required or
Bachelor’s or associate degree in relevant field and 2 years experience in processing/programming with knowledge of database reporting preferred
Experience with developing format standards for analysis
Knowledge of database reporting and report writing software
Knowledge of early childhood education is preferred

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of rules, regulations, and ELC policies, procedures, and practices
Familiar with Infant, Toddler and/or PreK CLASS Tools or have the ability to become reliable within a specified period
Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends/evenings as required for training purposes
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including providing technical programmatic information to nontechnical audience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with individuals of varying backgrounds and skill levels to achieve goals
Ability to manage multiple projects, follow-through and meet deadlines
Must exhibit a positive attitude and an example to others in the areas of problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal relationships, support of management decisions and commitment to ELC’s mission and vision
You Have:
What You Will Do (Summary):
Assist with inputting, collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data to identify emerging trends and training needs for the ELC’s providers and families
Administer child screenings on School Readiness participants
Assist with data entry for child assessment demographic for contract School Readiness participants
Monitor child screening assessments completion for contract School Readiness participants
Administer program assessments In School Readiness and Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) provider classrooms
Assist School Readiness and VPK providers with registering program assessment demographics
Provide weekly, quarterly, and yearly data reports as needed for program assessment and developmental screenings
Schedule School Readiness and VPK program assessments
Maintain data associated with program assessment
Conduct weekly internal monitoring of ASQ child screenings
Provide technical assistance to all School Readiness, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK), and Head/Early Head Start providers for various ELC-related systems
Participate in internal and external audits and monitoring, as deemed necessary
Assist with proposals and grant preparation, including providing maps, charts, graphics, timelines, and other desktop publishing assistance, as requested
May assist with training and development specific to data systems
Receive and relay communication about data issues and report those timely to supervisor
Assist with the development and implementation of professional development opportunities, special events, conferences and forums for providers
Assist with Resource Room activities that support child care providers
Participate in a minimum of two ELC outreach events and/or activities each fiscal year
Participate as directed in all ELC quality improvement efforts to achieve optimum organizational performance
Contact the Abuse Hotline immediately in the event an allegation of abuse, neglect, or exploitation is received and notify a manager immediately
Maintain knowledge of law, policies & procedures
Deliver services and provide follow-up timely and in accordance with law
Provide information and reporting accurately and timely

Position: Full-time, Non-exempt Position of Special Trust.
Salary Range: $36,000 -$41,000.
Benefits: This is a full-time position that includes the following benefits: health insurance, dental, vision, flexible paid time off and holidays, life insurance, short-term and long-term, retirement savings plan (401K) and loan forgiveness eligible employer, etc. Considered for hybrid work after successful completion of probationary period.
Location: In person; hybrid eligible following successful completion of probationary period.
