Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning
Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management
Deliver age-appropriate instruction tailored to diverse learning needs, including children requiring special education or early intervention services
Monitor and assess children’s progress through observations and standardized testing, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
Foster effective communication with families to share developmental milestones, behavioral insights, and educational goals
Manage classroom routines, transitions, and activities to ensure safety and engagement for all children
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and inclusive practices such as Montessori or other educational philosophies
Qualifications
Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies
Familiarity with curriculum development across various domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning
Experience with special education needs and implementing individualized support plans
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
Ability to maintain a safe, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and child welfare
Prior experience in private schools or Montessori settings is a plus; certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred
